Extrastaff’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy refers to our responsibility towards our environment.
We encourage staff to become involved with charitable causes. We push diversity and support various LGBTQ causes; our CEO was listed in the FT100 LGBT list for 4 years. We have proudly sponsored the Rochdale AFC Community Trust minibus for 4 years. The trust raises awareness and funds in the local community, especially with under privileged children and adults, over 70s, ethnic minority groups, adults with learning difficulties. Through various platforms, we have supported Macmillan Cancer, Sue Ryder Foundation and the British Heart Foundation. We support four local youth football teams and currently have a company-wide singing challenge running across our intranet to support our people in lockdown and raise money for the NHS.
Our investment in our own bespoke IT platform has meant the business has dramatically reduced the amount of paper used in the business and our intention is to be paperless within the next 2 years. We have installed light and heating sensors in our main operating locations and recycle all paper and plastics across the business and are moving our fleet to fully electric/hybrid.
